The BMW 3 Series Sedan will be the most successful model series of the BMW brand to be produced in San Luis Potosí in future.

The San Luis Potosí plant compensates for the production capacity of the BMW Group plant in Rosslyn, South Africa, where the new BMW X3 will be produced in place of the BMW 3 Series Sedan.

Production will start in 2019 with an annual production capacity of up to 150,000 units. The BMW Group is investing around one billion US dollars in the plant and creating at least 1,500 new jobs. We are supplying some of our patented steel structures for this large BMW project and are on site with a small team to supervise and carry out the installation.
